As the election campaign enters its final weekend, Thomas Mulcair joined his provincial NDP counterpart on the campaign trail in Moncton today.
Mulcair says he wanted to support Dominic Cardy who he claims has run a “masterful” campaign.
The federal leader says New Brunswickers have a real choice in this election and he believes the party will have the best showing ever in the province on Monday.
Mulcair says he’s not terribly concerned about a drop in support for the NDP in the most recent poll, noting that he and Cardy have spoken to more people today than those who were surveyed for the poll.
