Fundy National Park is hosting a unique event this afternoon as part of the Taste of Fundy Festival.
The Rustic Gourmet event includes a pair of how-to classes for cooking good meals outside over a campfire demonstrating that you don’t have to give up healthy eating during your outdoor vacations.
Fundy project manager Andrew Fry says renowned chef Dennis Johnston will host the classes.
“He’s coming back to Fundy National Park to help us create some pretty amazing food during the event…show people how to make amazing food over the open fire.”
Marinated grilled beef and quick Acadian Fricot will be on the menu and participants will get to eat what they cook at the workshop.
The cost to take part is $22.
