Conservative Leader David Alward announced this morning his desire to create jobs in every sector and region in the province through shale gas and natural resource development.
He chose the CN rail yards in Moncton to make his announcement.
Alward says we have to stop sending our families away because of a lack of employment, “People in the North are saying too many of their son and daughters have to leave. People are coming up and saying we have to move forward because it’s that important to the future of New Brunswick.”
Alward’s son is one of many who has been affected and was forced to leave the province to find work.
