The Silent Witness Project will be unveiling its 25th Silhouette in New Brunswick to honour Tanya Marie Shand of Rothesay who was murdered in May 2013.
The event will be taking place at the Q-Plex September 20th. Each of the silhouettes represents a woman who was murdered by a husband, common-law partner, boyfriend or intimate acquaintance.
The Shand family has released a statement calling the past year difficult and the next few years will be the same because there’s empty seat at their table that will be a steady reminder of what they lost.
