20 Saint Johners Facing Charges In Operation Tornado

Police picking up 29 people as part of Operation J Tornado, 20 of those are from the Saint John area

The RCMP letting us know those charged include the alleged principle leaders of three criminal groups operating in the province.

All are facing drug-related charges while some are also facing charges relating to the taking part of in activities of a criminal organization, conspiracy to traffic drugs and firearms offences.

The RCMP will be hosting a news conference tomorrow morning in Saint John regarding the multiple arrests and the drugs, cash and firearms seizures associated with the investigation.

Men and women from Moncton, Grand Manan, Smithtown, Tracy, Seeley’s Cove, Scoudoc and Fredericton are facing charges.
