An improved education plan was the focus of an announcement by Liberal leader Brian Gallant earlier today in Moncton.
The Liberal Leader says a strong education system, leading to a skilled workforce is a critical component of long term growth.
If elected, his party would work with stakeholders, teachers, educators, students and parents to create a 10 year education plan.
“It’s important to have stability in the system, give teachers a support and predictability that they need to be able to deliver greater outcomes in our education system. We need to learn from our successes and from some of our mistakes, to better the education system for our children.”
Gallant says the plan would help improve literacy and numeracy achievement levels, and enhance science, technology, engineering and math related courses.
His party would also focus on positive learning environments by reducing bullying.
