Man to attempt another swim in Atlantic Canadian waters

A Vancouver man who swam 30 kilometres across the Northumberland Strait and back again is already setting his sights on a bigger swim next year.

Jeremy Davidson is a Canadian Forces member serving at C-F-B Gagetown.

He completed the 16-hour and 15-minute swim on Saturday and says he was inspired by his father who suffers from a severe form of arthritis.

Davidson says he wanted to do something for the Neil Squire Society, a non-profit organization that helps people with disabilities return to the workforce.

He says he’s aiming to make a three-point swim from New Brunswick to P-E-I and then to Nova Scotia next year.
