Premier David Alward says part of his plan to create jobs in New Brunswick will be through a comprehensive investment strategy in the province’s seaports, airports, and trucking hubs.
Alward says, if re-elected, he would work personally with ports and port communities to shape the strategy and build on the individual strengths of each port’s infrastructure.
According to a Progressive Conservative press release, the New Brunswick Port Strategy would build on investments in the province’s infrastructure made over the past four years.
New Brunswick is Canada’s most trade-oriented province.
Alward made the announcement in Belledune today.
