Unlawful confinement case returns to court in September

MONCTON, NB–A 40-year-old Saint Paul man charged with aggravated assault and unlawful confinement returns to court next month.

David Beaulieu appeared in court yesterday and waived his right to a bail hearing. The case was adjourned until September 8th for election and plea.

Beaulieu was arrested on Tuesday, after RCMP received reports that a man was driving around with an injured woman in the back of his van.

Officers located the vehicle on Regis Street and an a 34-year-old woman was taken to hospital.
