A PEI man is now facing two counts of first degree murder in connection with a double homicide.
The bodies of a father and his adult son were found in a Montague area home in Prince Edward Island on Wednesday night.
Forty-six-year-old Alfred Guy Vuozzo was arrested early yesterday morning, and appeared in court last night.
RCMP have not released the names of the victims, or how they died, but they have confirmed that the two were not related, as prior reports had indicated.
Sergeant Leanne Butler told media the accused and the victims lived relatively close to each other, about 10 minutes apart.
Autopsies are being conducted to determine the cause of death.
Vuozzo remains in custody and will make another court appearance next week.
