Adam John Bloedow

1983 – 2026

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Adam Bloedow, of Riverview, on May 27, 2026, at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Moncton, he was the son of Paul and Nancy (Lawrence) Bloedow.

Adam passed away surrounded by the love of his family and friends. Adam was a devoted husband to his high school sweetheart and loving wife of 22 years, Sascha, and a proud and dedicated father to Noah, Aiken, and Maeve, who were the absolute center of his world. He also shared a special bond with his beloved furbabies, Lolli and Billi.

Having children at a young age gave him the gift of growing alongside them, creating a bond that was filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. He was a hands-on father in every sense of the word — always present at sporting events, school functions, family gatherings, and every important moment in his children’s lives. His love and pride for his family could be seen in everything he did.

Adam had a lifelong passion for hockey, golfing and lacrosse, and anyone who knew him knew his heart belonged to the Boston Bruins. He proudly passed his love of the game on to his children, spending countless hours playing pickup hockey, watching games together, and sharing in the excitement of every season.

Adam worked as a letter carrier with Canada Post for nearly 20 years most recently at Mark Avenue (LCD2), where he took immense pride in his work. He genuinely loved the people he met along his routes and valued the friendships he built with his coworkers and the community he served each day.

Known for his kind heart and generous spirit, Adam was the type of person who would do absolutely anything for anyone. He was fiercely loyal to his family and friends, always full of life, laughter, and a sense of humor that could brighten any room. He grew up in Lower Coverdale with his close-knit “LC Crew” and later graduated from Riverview High School. The friendships he made throughout his life remained deeply important to him.

Some of Adam’s happiest moments were spent seasonally camping in St. Martins with Sascha and his Seaside family. St. Martins was his happy place — a place where he felt most at peace, surrounded by family, friends, laughter, and the Fundy coast he loved so much. Summer weekends were filled with bonfires, washer toss, walks on the beach with the dogs, and memories that will be cherished forever by everyone lucky enough to share them with him.

Adam will be remembered most for the incredible love he gave so freely — to his family, his friends, his coworkers, and everyone lucky enough to know him. His presence brought comfort, joy, and strength to so many, and his memory will continue to live on in the countless lives he touched.

He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife Sascha and their children Noah (Mia Keddy), Aiken, and Maeve (Cody Steeves) Bloedow, his parents Paul and Nancy, mother in-law Cathy McFarlane, sisters-in-law Allisha (Chris) Ross and Trisha (Tyler) McFarlane, and nephews Lliam, Weston, and Wyatt. Adam was predeceased by his father-in-law Bill McFarlane.

Adam’s family will receive friends and relatives at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd, Riverview (506-869-2007) on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 1-4pm.

Dress code is casual, and you are encouraged to wear your favourite sports jerseys, sweater, Tshirt or ballcaps (even if they’re not the Bruins)

For those who would like to share memories or stories of Adam with his family, please feel free to prepare a note, letter, photo, drawing, or other small memento to place in a memory basket. Donations made to The Moncton Hospital Neurological unit in his memory would be appreciated.
