Tony Cormier

1979~2026

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Tony Cormier. Tony was a man with a heart of gold who was always there for everyone. He had a deep passion for fishing and dreamed one day of driving a transport truck. He also loved anything with a motor and enjoyed working with machines.

Surrounded by his loving family, Tony passed away at the

Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre on May 15, 2026, at the age of 47.

Born on February 18, 1979, he was the son of Antoine and Delisca Cormier of Saint-Louis-de-Kent, New Brunswick.

He leaves to mourn his brother and sisters: Paul (Sonia) of Lévis, Quebec, Pauline of Miramichi, and Shirley of Bouctouche;

as well as his two half-brothers, Théophile Jr. and David of Thunder Bay.

Tony will also be deeply missed by his four children: Dawson, Mikael, Jonah, and his little princess Sophie, as well as Melissa.

He also leaves behind many nieces, uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends, along with his paternal grandfather,

Théophile Guimond and his family.

With heavy hearts, Tony also leaves mourning his second family, Bertrand and Mariette, along with their children Colin, Jolienne, Julie, and their grandchildren, all of whom held a very special place in his heart.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026, with visitation from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and

from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
