Moncton,NB- It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marie-Reine (Robichaud) Gaudet, surrounded by family, that occurred on Wednesday, May 6 th , 2026, at Albert House in Moncton, NB following a long battle against Alzheimer’s.
Born in Moncton, on February 10 th , 1943, she was the daughter of the late Léo Robichaud and the late Délia Richard.
Marie-Reine worked almost 34 years for Air Canada at the Moncton/Dieppe airport. She had a lifelong passion about everything artistic and was happiest painting, drawing, knitting and stitching especially after her retirement. She sang in many church choirs, loved going for walks and visiting friends. Above all, Marie-Reine loved spending her summers at the cottage in Cap Bimet on the beach with her family…it was her happy place.
She will be sadly missed by her two children: Jacques Gaudet (Lucie) of Blainville, QC and Lyette Gaudet (Stanley) of Kingston, ON; her sisters: Yvonne, Laura, Rose Marie, Marie, Germaine and Nicole; her brothers: Livain, Paul and Léo; her grandchildren: Jessica, Mylène, Chelsy (Mark) and Alexander; as well as many, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
Beside her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband, Rhéal Gaudet; as well as her siblings: Émerise, Léona, Henri and Ève.
Loved ones will welcome relatives and friends at Passage~ Chartersville (363 Amirault St, Dieppe) on Monday, June 29 th at 1:00 pm, followed by the funeral service at 2:00 pm in the chapel.
