It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Camilla Williams, who died peacefully on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, in palliative care.
Born in Moncton, New Brunswick, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Thérèse (née Thébeau) Williams.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Diana Chan (René LeBlanc) and Denice LeBlanc (Jeff Gauvin); her cherished grandchildren, Romy and Odin; her brothers, Junior, David (Debbie), Stuart, Donald (Sheila), Paul (Roxann), and Larry (Brenda); her sisters, Beatrice (Lionel); May (Rick); as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Beatrice, her brother Ronald, and her sister-in-law Élise.
Camilla will be remembered for her sense of humour, her beautiful singing voice, her love of reading and writing, and for the many layers that shaped her life and touched those who knew her.
The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the medical team at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital for their compassionate care and support.
In keeping with her wishes, arrangements will remain private. In the care of Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton. She will be laid to rest in the presence of those who knew and loved her most.
