Charles LeBlanc

1965 ~ 2026

Charles LeBlanc passed away at the age of 61 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital in Moncton. Born in Bouctouche, he was the son of the late Louise (Breau) and the late Gérald LeBlanc.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Nathalie (Gervais) LeBlanc; his children, Serge (Stephany), Véronique (Bobby), and Pascal (Danielle); his grandchildren Théodore, Benjamin, and a baby on the way; his brothers and sisters, Maurice (Andréa), Paulette (Philip), Jeannelle (Yvette), Bernard (Anita), Raymond, Guy, Félice, Vincent, Joanne, and André (Sylvie); as well as many other family members and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his niece Rachel (1985) and his nephew Gabriel (2012).

Charles devoted his entire career to Environment and Climate Change Canada. During his 35 years of service, he practiced his profession as an engineer with passion. A great sports enthusiast, he found in squash and pickleball a precious balance, combining the joy of the game with camaraderie. Charles was known by all for his integrity and impartiality.

Beyond his career, Charles was first and foremost a family man. Coming from a large family with many brothers and sisters, he acted as a true unifier, always ensuring cohesion and joy among his loved ones, his children, and his grandchildren. We will miss his caring presence dearly.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Dr. Léon-Richard Oncology Center, CHU-Dumont, and the outpatient hospital, as well as the healthcare professionals who cared for him throughout his illness.
