Viola Heisler, 79 of Moncton passed away surrounded by family on Thursday, April 9, 2026. Born in St. Lawrence, Newfoundland, she was the daughter of the late Chesley and Eliza (Lambert) Beck.
Viola retired with over 30 years of accounting services with Hitech Power Sports. While her children were growing up, she volunteered with Malton Minor Hockey as treasurer, as well as a Brownie leader. A woman of deep faith, she attended the former St. Phillips Anglican Church, where she served her church as Warden and many other capacities. She was most proud of her family and being called grandma.
Viola is survived by her children Debbie Heisler, Paul Heisler, Shannon Heisler (Logan) and; grandchildren Bryon, Nevaeh and Ellie; a sister Addie Hatcher, brothers Earl Beck (Stella), Owen Beck, Samuel Beck (Christina) and Arnold Beck (Christine); sister-in-law Diana Beck; her good friends Christine Saunders-Bartlett, Denis Richard and her McDonald’s Coffee Friends as well as many nieces and nephews.
Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved husband Peter Heisler (2017) and brothers Chesley, George and Eric.
