1951 – 2026

Sadly, we announce the passing of Laura Winnifred Stack who passed away on March 25, 2026 at The Moncton Hospital.  Born in Melrose, NB she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Alice (Murphy) Stack.

Laura’s work life was devoted to Volunteer work with the Moncton Food Bank and the YMCA.

She is survived by her sisters; Veronica Rivers-Bowerman (Patrick), Josephine Scott (Russell), Mary Rayworth (Warren), Helen Fillmore (Leslie), Catherine Humber (Doug), brothers; Edward Stack ( Karen) and Francis Stack( Nancy). And a very special person, Barry.

Beside her parents she was predeceased by her brother Gerard who she was very close to.

A funeral mass for Laura will be held Monday, March 30^th, 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Riverview, NB.  Arrangements are entrusted to Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview (506 869 2007).

Donations in Laura’s memory can be made to the memorial of donor’s choice.
