March 21, 1940  –  March 22, 2026

Donald C. “Don” Dunn, 86, of Riverview, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday, March 22, 2026. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Charles and Muriel (nee VanBuskirk) Dunn.

Don worked for 17 years as a manager with Woolworth’s. He then went on to be the owner and operator of Dunn’s Variety and Ayer Convenience for many years, before handing the reigns to his son, Alan in 1998. Not one for retirement, Don went on to operate Don Dunn Auto Sales for many years. Don and Bev were avid RV’er’s who logged thousands of miles across both Canada and The United States. They also volunteered many hours with Mobile Missions Assistance Program (MMAP). Don and Bev were members of the Perfect Circle Motor Home Club.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 61 years, Beverly Dunn (nee Miller); his sons, Alan Dunn (Tashya) and Richard Dunn (Natasha); grandchildren, Justin, Jason, Jacob (Sophia) and Bailey; sister, Karen Dunn; as well as nieces, nephews and extended family.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Gary Dunn.

Resting at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (506-858-1995) on Saturday from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, March 29, 2026 at 2:00 pm from Tidal Church (945 St. George St. Formerly Moncton Wesleyan). Reception will follow in the church atrium. Interment will be held in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
