1925 – 2026
Shediac, NB – It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Elise Brine, 100, of Maison Providence, Shediac, on Tuesday, March 17th, 2026.
Born in Cap-Pelé, NB, she was the daughter of the late Robert and the late Helena (Richard) Brun.
Prior to her retirement, she was a school teacher for 34 years “Mme. Brine”.
She is survived by her sons: George (Lucie) and Ronald “Ronny” (Tina), both of Cap-Pelé; by her grandchildren: Sébastien, Annie, Miguel, Cédric and Amélie; by her great grandchildren: Ariel, Axel, Liam and Dax; by her sister, Laura Jacob (late Romuald) of Petit-Cap, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Roy Brine; by her sisters: Edna, Zella, Mennie, Anna and Anita and by her brothers: Clovis and Donat.
At the family’s request, there will be no visitation and funeral service.
Burial will take in Ste-Thérèse-d’Avila Parish Cemetery, Cap-Pelé in the Spring 2026.
