Jeannette McDonald, 93, of Moncton, New Brunswick, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at Faubourg du Mascaret (Pavillon Landry).

Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Levi and Emma (Mills) LeBlanc.

Jeannette was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Diane McDonald; her grandson, Daniel; her three sons, Jimmy (Charlotte) McDonald of Moncton, Roger (Diane) McDonald of Moncton, and Raymond McDonald of Edmonton; and her two brothers, Ronnie (Jeannine) LeBlanc and Roger (Joanne) LeBlanc.

She was predeceased by her loving husband Gerard McDonald, August 23, 2014, as well as her sister, Corinne (Jean) Cormier of Moncton.

As a family request, there will be no visitation. A Celebration of the Word will be held at Passage Funeral Cooperative, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, New Brunswick (506-857-1901), on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at 3:00 p.m.

Interment will take place in the spring of 2026 at Notre Dame du Calvaire Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Passage Funeral Cooperative, Chartersville.

In memory of Jeannette, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
