Labour Day: What’s open and closed in Greater Moncton

Labour Day is Monday and that means many places normally open will not be.

Malls, big-box stores and most grocery stores will be closed for the day.

Some drug stores and smaller grocery stores may be open, although their hours may vary.

NB Liquor and Cannabis NB stores will be closed, but agency liquor outlets will be open.

Banks, post offices and all government offices will also be closed, and there will be no mail delivery.

Codiac Transpo will not be operating on Labour Day. Regular service will resume on Tuesday.

If you are unsure if something is open, it is best to call ahead.
