RCMP operation ends in Moncton

A police operation in Moncton has concluded.

In a post on X just after 9:30 a.m. Saturday, RCMP asked people to avoid the West Lane area and allow police to work.

They said there was no risk to the public.

According to an RCMP update around noon the operation had ended and they thanked the public for their cooperation.

No further details have been provided.
