Riverview holds first ever Hike and Seek

A first-time event for Riverview.

The town is hosting a ‘Hike and Seek’ at Mill Creek Nature Park for the public.

It was created by Keira Macdougall, who is the outdoor recreation lead this summer.

She says they’ll be looking for things like landmarks, wildlife, and plants using a Bingo card.

“It’s open to anyone in the Tri-communities. We can only accommodate around 100 people within the Mill Creek Nature Park lookout, so if you’re interested in taking part, you should visit the Facebook page and indicate that.”

It is scheduled for July 19 at 9 am. There’s no cost to take part.

For more information, visit the Hike and Seek Facebook page.
