N.B. gasoline down, diesel up

There were ups and downs for New Brunswick’s pump prices this week.

Motorists using regular self-serve will pay less.

The maximum price dipped 2.3 cents a litre overnight to around $1.54.

Diesel and furnace oil prices increased by around 2 cents.

Currently, New Brunswickers are paying a maximum of $1.54 per litre for regular self-serve, $1.64 per litre for diesel and $1.35 per litre for home heating oil.

In Nova Scotia, regular self-serve ranges from $1.50 to $1.54 per litre while diesel is selling for between $1.59 and $1.64 per litre.

On Prince Edward Island, the price for regular self-serve is around $1.59 per litre, diesel costs around $1.69 per litre and home heating oil is selling for a maximum of $1.13 per litre.

The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board adjusts prices every Friday at 12:01 a.m.
