Some YQM airline partners affected by global IT outage

Passengers flying through the Greater Moncton Romeo Leblanc International Airport may have felt the effects of the global IT outage.

Airport Spokesperson Sheila Lagace says some of their airline partners are being impacted.

Travellers should check the status of their flights directly with the airlines, as there could be potential delays and cancellations.

A massive global technology outage impacted flights, banks and other industries in many countries.

The issue affected Microsoft 365 apps and services and was caused by a faulty update from cybersecurity company CrowdStrike.
