A mini home fire near Miramichi has left a couple temporarily homeless.
The Canadian Red Cross says the fire broke out at around 1:30 this morning on Williamstown Road.
The home was destroyed by the flames.
One man was taken to hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.
The Red Cross is helping the couple with emergency lodging and other necessities.
