Halo Donuts Opens Second Location In Moncton

Residents in the north end came out in droves with a desire for donuts.

Halo Donuts has officially opened their second location at Mountain and Gorge Roads.

But, if you are planning to stop for doughnuts on the way home from work, you might be facing a line up. It has proven to be a popular spot since it opened on January 20.

Co-Owner Jacques Allain says their shop offers a nostalgic feeling, “It really captures all age groups because millenials never really had the chance to taste a fresh, handmade product like this. Then the older generations remembers back in the day when the big donut chains actually made their donuts fresh everyday.”

Allain says there’s something for everyone, “We do singles, and then we do boxes of a half dozen, eight packs and full dozens. All of our boxes are tax free, and Mr. Bakery items. We have an option for everyone in there.”

He adds, their new location also includes a larger kitchen, which is allowing them to expand their product line.

Halo Donuts opened in its first location on St. George Street in Moncton in 2020, “It has gone super well, better than expected,” Allain says.
