Family Temporarily Homeless After Riverview Fire

A family of five has been temporarily displaced after a fire in a bungalow in Riverview.

The fire was reported at around 11:15 yesterday morning on Callowhill Road.

Canadian Red Cross volunteers arranged emergency lodging and meals for two adults and three children while they await a damage assessment and further support through insurance.

There is quite a bit of damage, but most is in the basement area.
