An inmate has died at the Atlantic Institution in Renous.
A news release states James Walsh was serving a two year sentence since May of 2019 for convictions including for break enter and commit, uttering threats to cause death and obstructing a peace officer.
He died on April 1st, while in custody.
In all cases involving the death of an inmate, Correctional Service Canada reviews and investigates the circumstances.
