This year, Canada Day celebrations are going virtual, in an effort to reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19.
The festivities kick off at 12:30 ahead of the national Canadian Heritage daytime broadcast, which will feature the city of Moncton.
Throughout the afternoon there will be music by local artists and a cooking video from Riverview chef and Netflix star Dennis Prescott, at the Magnetic Hill winery.
Next year’s performers, the Lumber Jills and Menoncle Jason will make announcements, as well as a surprise guest.
The evening will wrap up with another national broadcast.
