School Districts Begin Rolling Out Resources For Home Learning

School districts in the region have begun the process to offer home learning to students in Anglophone East and Francophone South School districts.

Teachers began reaching out to parents and students yesterday, to begin the process for schooling over the next couple of months.

Anglophone East Superintendent Gregg Ingersoll says a few resources have been rolled out as well, “We’ve just opened up a section on our School District website, called home learning resources for families. We will be using that as a site where we can collect information for families to use during this home learning process, as supported by teachers.”

Teachers are also expected to be contacting students on a weekly basis, with more resources.

“We are updating more information as we go and adding more to it everyday so you’d be be able to use that as a source for information going forward. When your teachers follow up with you, they’ll be able to guide you through that, ” Ingersoll says.

Francophone South School District has also launched a new digital platform that offers a directory of educational activities and resources for parents and students.
