Municipal Walking Trails Now One Way Only

If you’ve been using the municipal walking trails and parks in the City of Moncton, take note.

Mayor Dawn Arnold says they have now taken an additional precautions, “The main trails at Mapleton, Irishtown and Centennial will now be one way. This is to reduce congestion of residents who use the trails, and to ensure that we all follow the emergency declaration to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.”

She says City staff will continue to monitor parks and other changes will be made as needed.

“City staff are installing signs at the parks. Full park maps with the directional changes can be found at the city’s website www.moncton.ca/covid-19
