Five Local Candidates To Participate In Debate Hosted By Chamber Of Commerce For Greater Moncton

A candidates debate will be held tonight for the riding of Moncton Riverview Dieppe.

The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Moncton has organized the the debate in partnership with the Greater Moncton Realtors and Rogers TV.

Questions will address a wide range of issues important to entrepreneurs and residents of our three communities.

Sylvie Godin-Charest of the Conservative Party of Canada, Claire Kelly of the Green Party of Canada, Ginette Petitpas Taylor of the Liberal Party of Canada, Luke MacLaren of the New Democratic Party, and Stephen Driver of the People’s Party of Canada have confirmed they will participate in the debate.

Brad MacDonald, who is a candidate in the Moncton-Riverview-Dieppe riding for of the Animal Protection Party, reached out to our station to let us know he was not invited to take part in the debate.

It will be held tonight starting at 6:30 at the Dieppe Arts and Cultural Centre. It is open to the public and doors will open at 6pm.
