Moncton ArtWalk Still Looking For Host Businesses

The second edition of the Downtown Moncton Artwalk is coming up next month.

However, they are still looking for a few businesses to host artists.

Event organizer Amber Richards says it offers a unique opportunity to support local artists and businesses.

On September 7th, up to 20 businesses in the Downtown Moncton area will be hosting artists and artisans in their stores, restaurants and hotels.

Richards says participants also have the opportunity to sample local food vendors.

“It’s free to attend but you can try local food and beverages along the way by purchasing sample tokens and the profits will be donated to a local art program,” she says.

Richards adds that you can plan your walk according to which artists and vendors you’d like to see

“We will produce a map with the different host locations on it and the artists at those locations as well as where you can find the food and drinks that you can sample,”

More information about the ArtWalk and how to get involved can be found here.
