Motorcyclist To Be Remembered With Last Ride

A Riverview man will be remembered on Thursday by motorcycle enthusiasts.

Wayne Beal was killed when he lost control of his motorcycle on Mountain Road last week.

If you are a member of the biking community, it doesn’t matter whether or not you knew him, Sophie DesLongchamps says it is still like losing a member of the family.

She is the Organizer of the the Wayne Beal Last Ride, “I never met Wayne Beal personally, but I do know everyone whom met him, he was really close to their heart. He loved his music, his bike and his kids.”

Staging at the Moncton Coliseum is at 4:30, with kickstands up at 5 o’clock.

“Family and close friends will be at the front of the line, and we will ride through Moncton on Mountain Road in front of the crash site. From there, we’ll ride through Dieppe, Memramcook and Dorchester, and make our way to the funeral home. Everyone is welcome to come and ride along in his honour,” Deslongchamps says.
