Francophone South schools in the northern part of the province are also closed.

Environment Canada has issued freezing rain warnings and special weather statements. This is due to a low pressure system over southern Quebec that is tracking towards northern New Brunswick. It is expected to bring lengthy periods of freezing rain, ice pellets and snow.
