2016 New Brunswick Travel Guide Published Earlier Than Ever Before

The 2016 New Brunswick Travel Guide launched it’s earliest yet after thousands of requests.

Tourism, Heritage and Culture Minister Bill Fraser says they had a little over 9,000 requests, a jump of 3,000 from the same time last year.

He adds there are more than 1,600 products, services and experiences in the guide.

“Organized around the five scenic drives, the River Valley Scenic Drive, the Acadian Coastal Drive, the Miramichi River Route, and the Fundy Coastal Drive,” says Fraser.

Fraser says the guide includes 109 Experience Collection products, 11 of which are part of Destination Canada’s Signature Experiences Collection.

He says getting that recognition is phenomenal for our province and shows how significant tourism is to the economic wellbeing of the province.

“Tourism plays a key role in our economy, it’s over a billion dollar industry,” says Fraser. “It returns close to $100 million in direct tax revenue, it’s a significant economic driver for our province.”

You can order a version HERE and there is also an option to use an interactive online version of the guide for those who do their planning on the internet.
