Sackville Emerg Department To Temporarily Closed

The Emergency Department at Horizon’s Sackville Memorial Hospital (SMH) will be temporarily closed starting at 9pm Saturday night.

It will reopen at 8am on Sunday morning.

This is due to a nursing shortage.

Ambulances will be diverted to other hospitals.

All patients and clients requiring urgent medical care will need to seek treatment at another hospital.

Patients can call Tele-Care 811 if they have any questions about the type of medical attention they need.
