Moncton Residents Remember Tragedy Seven Years Ago

A Ward 3 Councillor-elect is asking the residents of Greater Moncton leave their back porch light on tonight.

Bryan Butler says this is a gesture to remember our fallen heroes who died on June 4th, seven years ago.

In 2014, RCMP Constable Fabrice Gevaudan, Constable Dave Ross and Constable Doug Larche were killed and Constables Eric Dubois and Darlene Goguen were injured in a shooting incident in the community.

A monument honouring the three fallen officers was erected in Riverfront Park on the second anniversary of the tragedy.
