A local animal shelter has received a donation of $12, 000, thanks to a brand new charitable organization in Greater Moncton.
100 Men Who Care held its inaugural meeting last night, and 120 members donated $100 each.
The Greater Moncton SPCA were the lucky recipients, and were awarded with the large cheque.
The group will meet again in three months, and will make another donation to another charity chosen at random.
The group, 100 Men Who Care of Greater Moncton, was inspired by the success of a similar group of women in Moncton and Saint John.
