The countdown is officially on!! Dust off your cowboy boots because Atlantic Canada’s YQM Country Fest is returning to the MusiquArt Site from August 27th-29th and this year marks 5 years of amaaazziiinggg entertainment – WOOHOOO!!!.
With the festival grounds expanding to accommodate over 20,000 fans, the energy in Dieppe is going to be INSANE so, whether you’re a festival veteran or first-timer joining in on the fun, here is your ultimate quick guide on what to expect and how to prepare for arguably the biggest weekend of the summer 🙂
- Plan Your Commute Early:
- There is no on-site camping at the MusiquArt Site. The traffic will be heavyyyy so be sure to coordinate your rides, map out local transit routes, or book your transportation well in advance.
- Download Your Tickets and Prep Your Wristbands:
- Organizers will be releasing bracelet pickup details on their social media platforms leading up to day one. Grab your wristbands early to ensure you’re able to cruise through the massive opening-day gate lines.
- Dress for the Elements:
- Be sure to keep in mind that this is a fully outdoor festival. Check the local forecast before heading out! Pack a poncho (we all know the weather this summer has been unpredictable to say the least) , wear comfortable close-toed shoes/boots, and don’t forget sunscreen!!
- Keep the Party Going!!:
- As your summer cruiser you best believe I got you covered for ALL THINGS FUN!!! The music doesn’t have to stop at 11:00pm. Local venues like Tide & Boar Gastropub on Main Street are hosting official late-night afterparties featuring live bands and country remix DJ’s until 2am so find that second wind and keep the party rockin 😉
