Young Moncton Entrepreneur Is Making And Selling Slime

Most 13-year-olds don’t run their own businesses but one Moncton girl is doing just that this summer by making and selling slime.

Natalie Dawson started at her home but eventually began branching out to sell her “Sun Kisssed Slime” at markets in Moncton and Riverview.

Natalie caught the business bug after her mother, a teacher, asked her to make slime kits for her students at school.

She came up with a business plan, borrowed money from her aunt to get started and now she’s almost paid up and was still able to buy a scooter with some of the profits.

To make her slime, she combines glue, baking soda, contact lens solution and lotion which form a chemical reaction to become slime.

She says it’s fun to play with and helps calm you down.

Natalie is already thinking ahead to the future and may continue being an enterpreneur in other ways but definitely wants to have her own business.
