Under the orange phase of pandemic recovery, gyms in Moncton and Campbellton must close.
This means both YMCA facilities are closed until further notice from the province’s health officials.
The closure affects the YMCA’s Health, Fitness and Aquatics Centre, as well as all Y programs.
The ReConnect outreach program however, will continue to serve the community’s most vulnerable citizens.
CEO Zane Korytko says are disappointed to be closing again just as members were returning and will update them as soon as they have more information.
“We are hopeful the community will follow the instructions of officials regarding all precautions to help slow the spread of this disease,” he says.
For now, memberships will be ‘frozen’ and no funds will be removed from member’s accounts during the closure.
