Fredericton police are treating the death of a woman as a homicide.
The RCMP called to a dirt road in Upper Derby on Saturday where human remains were found and it’s since been determined the victim was 31-year-old Candace Rose Winona Stevens of Fredericton.

Fredericton Police are leading the investigation with help from the provincial RCMP.
Police do not think there is any risk to the public and they will be providing updates as they are available.
