A 22-year-old woman has been seriously hurt after being hit by an SUV on McLaughlin Drive in Moncton.
Shortly after 6 o’clock Wednesday night, Codiac RCMP believe the woman was crossing at McLaughlin and Westwood in a crosswalk when she was struck.
Police say the woman has potentially life-threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
In December 2018, a 70-year-old man died after being struck by a vehicle in the same area.
