An investigation is underway after a 71-year-old woman was killed in a two-vehicle collision in Bathurst.
RCMP say the crash happened on Route 11 in the city early Monday afternoon.
Mounties believe a southbound SUV crossed the centre line and struck a northbound SUV.
A Bathurst-area woman who was driving the northbound vehicle was taken to hospital where she later died of her injuries.
A 58-year-old man and a 60-year-old woman from Val Comeau were in the other vehicle and were also hospitalized with serious injuries.
