Woman Charged In Moncton Armed Robbery

A woman has been charged in connection with an armed robbery at a Moncton gas station.

Shortly after 7:30 Wednesday night, Codiac RCMP say a woman entered the Esso at 395 Mountain Road and demanded money.

She later ran away but was quickly found and apprehended by officers.

Michelle Monique MacEachern, age 40, of Moncton has been charged with attempted armed robbery, wearing a disguise with intent to commit a crime and resisting arrest.

MacEachern is being held in custody and will make another court appearance on Friday.
