RCMP’s Major Crime Unit is investigating a homicide on the Esgenopetitj (Burnt Church) First Nation.
Mounties were called to a home on Micmac Road around 10:15 Tuesday morning and found a man dead.
Police have identified the victim as 34-year-old Christopher Dedam.
Investigators determined it was a homicide and arrested a 33-year-old woman on Wednesday who is from the First Nation.
An autopsy is being conducted to help determine the man’s cause of death.
Police believe this was an isolated incident.
