With dangerous cold settling in across New Brunswick, the province is outlining where people can find warm, safe shelter.
Social Development Minister Cindy Miles said winter conditions can be hazardous for anyone facing the elements, and she thanked community partners for keeping spaces open when they are needed most.

The province says 19 emergency shelters and warming centres are operating across New Brunswick, along with a recuperative care shelter, providing about 600 beds.
Most are open 24 hours a day, and those with limited hours may stay open around the clock during extreme cold.
Community hubs in Moncton, Saint John and Fredericton are also open 24 hours a day to assist.
Moncton shelters and warming centres include:
- Lion’s Centre (Bridge to Home), 473 St. George St., open 24 hours
- House of Nazareth, 74 Albert St., open 24 hours
- Harvest House Atlantic, 182 High St., open 24 hours
- Monarch Landing, 55 Mark Ave., open 24 hours
- Recuperative Centre, 473 St. George St., open 24 hours
The provincial government said outreach teams continue to work in several communities, serving as a street presence for people who are unsheltered and looking for support.
