A winning lottery ticket worth tens of thousands of dollars is going to expire at the end of May.
The Atlantic Lottery Corporation says an Atlantic 49 ticket worth a little over $25,649 was sold in Shediac on May 31st last year.
Winners have 12 months to claim their winnings, after which the money goes into a special fund used to create extra prizes.
